Urban Machinery would like to inform all of you about recent structure changes our company has made which will allow us to continue to service all of you efficiently and cost effectively during these difficult times of global economic uncertainty. It is likely that you are undertaking similar initiatives.
Effective immediately Urban Machinery has closed its west coast office in Port Townsend, Washington. All work previously performed by this office is now being transferred to our Cambridge, Ontario, had office for sales and service. Any open orders and down payments for machines, parts or service which you may have placed with our Port Townsend office have all been transferred to Urban in Cambridge. Any future orders and down payments for machines, parts or service will now have to be placed with Urban in Cambridge. Contact information for our Cambridge facility is as follows:

From a telephone service perspective, we will be increasing our hours of operation at our Cambridge facility to make up for some of the available telephone service time lost due to the closing of our Port Townsend, Washington facility. Our Cambridge telephone service office will now be open from 7:30 AM eastern standard time until 6:00 PM eastern standard time which translates to 3:00 PM pacific time. Any orders placed after these times will have to be completed and shipped the following day.
Urban Machinery continues to be a strong and stable manufacturer and supplier of equipment to the window and door industry world wide including North America. We are supported by our corporate head office in Germany as well as our secondary production facilities in Austria and Fredericton, N.B, Canada. We have been in business for over 50 years and will continue to be in business for many years to come.
The changes made by Urban in North America are necessary and will allow Urban to help all of our North American customers during these uncertain economic times, by reducing our overheads and allowing us to supply our customers with more cost effective solutions to their needs.
