Get a head start with an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic
What does this job involve?
As an industrial mechanic at Urban, you’ll ensure that our machines and production facilities are ready for operation. As part of your training, you’ll manufacture equipment parts, machine components, and assemblies, and assemble them into machines and technical systems. You’ll then be involved in setting them up, commissioning them, and testing their functionality.
This role also includes the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment. You will identify the causes of malfunctions, order the necessary replacement parts, or manufacture them yourself. Of course, you will also carry out the necessary repairs. Once installation and testing are complete, you will train your colleagues or our customers on how to operate and handle the equipment.
Where do you work?
As an industrial mechanic, you will work at our main plant in Memmingen
