What does this job involve?
The dual training program takes place at companies in the industrial and skilled trades sectors, spanning various industries and sizes. At the same time, theoretical knowledge is taught at a vocational school. During your training as an industrial clerk, you will rotate through various departments within the training company. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the organizational structures of each department and acquire commercial, organizational, and business management skills. You might even discover during your training the field in which you’d most like to work afterward.

What should you bring?
- Of course, you’ll need a high school diploma to enroll in the program—in this case, a Realschulabschluss, a Hochschulreife, or a Fachhochschulreife.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with colleagues, customers, and suppliers (in both German and English).
- Attention to detail and a knack for organization are definitely not a hindrance.
- Overall, you should be open-minded and eager to learn new things, and of course have an interest in business processes
