You will be responsible for the programming, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in our industrial facilities. You will play a key role in automating and improving the efficiency of our production processes and will work closely with various departments.
Your Responsibilities
- Programming and commissioning of PLCs (e.g., Eckelmann, Schneider Electric, B&R, and PLCs compliant with the Codesys IEC 61131-3 standard)
- Maintenance, servicing, and optimization of existing automation systems
- Fault Analysis and Troubleshooting for Automated Machines and Systems
- Implementation of system upgrades and integration of new technologies and components
- Creation and updating of technical documentation and circuit diagrams
- Close collaboration with production, technical support, and other departments
You’d be a great fit for us if…
- You have in-depth knowledge of PLC programming and control technology
- You demonstrate an independent, organized, and responsible approach to your work
- You have experience in industrial electrical engineering, pneumatics, and network technologies
Here’s what you’ll need to bring:
- Completed training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or another comparable technical program
- Further training to become a technician or master technician in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology
- Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems systematically
- Team-oriented work
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel occasionally (depending on project requirements)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ERP systems
